Trends in Automotive PLM: Enabling Innovation through Integration and Collaboration (R)

IBM has taken a comprehensive look at innovation in last year's IBM CEO Study and identified key challenges that top business priorities. In another study, IBM also assessed the PLM capabilities of more than fifty companies in the automotive industry, covering the innovation-related concerns of the boardroom, as well as detailed design and engineering tradeoffs. Peter Robison, worldwide Director of Automotive PLM Solutions, and Fatema Maher, worldwide Marketing Manager Automotive PLM, share some of IBM's thoughts about the state of product lifecycle management, design and engineering, and the potential contribution of simulation in driving product development.
